The Palais des Congrès de Paris is an emblematic site at the core of Paris’ business activities.
Built from 1970 by architect Guillaume Gillet, it was inaugurated in 1974.The imposing inclined facade dates of the rehabilitation in 1998. It is the work of the architect Christian de Portzamparc. It consists of four lecture halls on four floors: Grand Amphitheatre (3723 seats) - amphitheatres Bordeaux, Havana Blue and smaller. The Palais des Congrès de Paris also has many conference rooms and a shopping mall on two levels.
