The Technical Committee is responsible for the technical review of abstracts and reports received from candidates for the eHealth award. It will be responsible for the selection of short listed candidates based on pre-defined criteria, as well as selection of the eventual winners, also based on pre-defined criteria.

The Technical Committee will be composed of prominent eHealth experts who have extensive experience in eHealth innovation that is relevant to Africa, as well as of African Development Bank staff working on ICT and Health.

 2.     Responsibilities of the Technical Committee

 The Technical Committee will be responsible for:

•  Reviewing all submissions received (with abstracts on eHealth projects)
• Establishing a short list of candidates based on the selection criteria in Annex 1
• Reviewing the full project reports
• Establishing a list of winners based on the selection criteria in Annex 2
