Reservations

Overnight Guests

All overnight guests are required to secure a reservation using the link provided below or in the registration confirmation email. HLC pays a penalty when rooms in the pre-negotiated block are not used, and these penalties could result in higher fees for future events. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

HLC has secured a discounted rate of $189 per night (plus tax) for those needing overnight accommodations. All reservations should be made directly with the Phoenix Marriott Tempe at the Buttes through the online reservation system or by calling 888.867.7492 and identifying yourself as an attendee with the Higher Learning Commission.

Room rate includes:

• Overnight accommodations
  
• Complimentary guest room internet access
  
• Complimentary internet access in the meeting space

Check-in: 3:00 p.m.
Check-out: Noon
Early check-in may be requested but is based on room availability.

Cut-off Date: Sleeping room reservations must be made by January 19, 2017. Any reservations requested after this date are subject to availability.

Cancellation Penalty: A penalty, equal to one night’s room rate and tax, will be assessed for cancellations made two business days or fewer prior to the event start date.

Commuters / Day Guests

If you do not require overnight accommodations and are planning to drive in to the event, you will be considered a commuter / day guest. After you complete your registration for the event, you will not need to make any additional arrangements with the hotel. Upon arrival to the Phoenix Marriott Tempe at the Buttes, commuters / day guests may proceed to the registration desk to pick up a name badge and workshop materials.
