Description of Chair/Discussant Roles:The main responsibility of the Chair/Discussant is to keep things on time in Traditional Paper and Developmental Paper sessions.
The secondary responsibility is to facilitate discussion of the papers. This is more essential for Chair/Discussants in the Developmental Paper sessions, where they must have read the papers in advance. For Traditional Sessions, it is up to the discretion of the Chair/Discussant whether to read the papers in advance.
