Senior representatives of all sectors of the precious metals markets will be in attendance at the LBMA/LPPM Precious Metals Conference, the premier event in the industry calendar. Now in its 16th year, the Conference adds insight into the vital issues affecting the precious metals markets. The 2014 Conference was held in Lima, with more than 400 delegates in attendance from 37 countries and 188 separate companies represented. This year’s conference brings us back to Europe for the first time since the conference in Rome in 2013, when we had record attendance of more than 800 delegates.

The 2015 Conference will take place over two days. Proceedings will begin on Sunday with an informal Networking Reception on the afternoon followed by a Welcome Reception in the evening. The Conference Speaker Sessions will start on the Monday morning at 9:15 am and close on mid-afternoon on Tuesday, followed by RGG session. The Gala Dinner will take place on Monday evening at the majestic setting of the Liechtenstein Palace. As always the Dinner will be preceded by a Cocktail Reception.

An excellent programme of speakers will offer their unique insight into the major issues of interest in the Precious Metals market. This year we have two Keynote Speakers, Lord Gus O’Donnell, Strategic Advisor, The Toronto-Dominion Bank (and between 2005-11 Cabinet Secretary and Head of the UK Civil Service), and John Authers, Senior investment columnist at The Financial Times. Other highlights include a Central Bank Official Sector Session featuring senior representatives from the Bank of England, Bundesbank and the Austrian Nationalbank and a dedicated session on India and China as well as a session focussed on the major issues affecting the PGM market. See the Programme tab for more details.
