2015 U.S. - E.U Legal Summit

About the Event

As the European Union and the United States are still negotiating to secure an agreement that will apparently pump billions of euros into economies on both sides of the Atlantic, what does this mean for leading multinationals in the EU? The Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership will be the world’s biggest ever bilateral trade and investment deal. That said this development of agreements is also causing several issues; a rise in antitrust concerns, corporate tax implications, and complexities of data protection to name a few.

Brought to you by The American Lawyer, the annual US-EU Legal Summit is an exclusive gathering bringing together in-house counsel from the EU’s foremost corporations to discuss key concerns and practical solutions with respect to the intersection of EU-US law. Throughout the day our speakers will use their diverse experiences to draw an up-to-date picture of the interaction of states and businesses across the EU and US.

“Acting together, the European Union and the United States can be a formidable force for good in the world” (European Security Strategy 2003).

Who will be in Attendance

European and US general and senior in-house counsel; compliance risk officers; heads of EU relations, regulatory and government affairs within companies; heads of trade and industry policy; in-house competition and antitrust heads; EC officials; and C-Suite executives.
