2018 Tri-State Collections Convention

The Indiana and Ohio/Kentucky Units are once again pleased to come together to hold the third Tri-State Collections Convention,
August 15-17, 2018, at the fabulous and fun Belterra Casino Resort in Florence, Indiana.

Check out our fantastic agenda to see what we have in store for you this year!

On Wednesday at noon, you can golf at the beautiful and challenging Belterra Golf Club, a Tom Fazio-designed course.

Thursday late morning, we will kick off the convention with Sharahn Monk, Talent Connections Leader for the Cincinnati USA Chamber of Commerce, and her “Best Practices for Recruiting Employees” interactive presentation.

Thursday afternoon we are offering two, 2-hour ACA core curriculum seminars, Successful Hiring Strategies and Effective Performance Management, both of which meet the educational requirements for ACA designations.
Following the seminars, we’ll have an opening reception at 5:30 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres and open bar, then free time after 7:00 p.m.

Friday morning we’ll hear about the state of the industry from ACA President-Elect Jack Brown.

During lunch, we’ll hear from a panel of ACA MAP attorneys who will engage attendees on Surviving the Complicated Litigious World of Collections.

We’ll round out the convention with a much-anticipated presentation by Josh Stevens & Nick Whisler of Mac Murray & Shuster LLP entitled, Labels, Dialers, and Blocked Calls: Avoiding Common Calling Pitfalls. Join Josh and Nick for a discussion of the latest trends in call blocking and labeling technologies, regulatory and industry responses, and ways that you can mitigate the impact of these new technologies on your business. They will also discuss the latest developments in TCPA compliance following the D.C. Circuit’s landmark decision in ACA Int’l v. FCC.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity! We will once again be giving a $100 gift card to a lucky attendee who visits every vendor and turns in his or her completed vendor visits scorecard.
