Overview

The AELP Spring Conference will have a different look this year. Apart from a brief introduction and general policy update to welcome delegates, the event will offer a series of workshops across one day to enable providers to drill down into subjects that offer growth opportunities.

20 different workshops mean that there will be something for everyone. They range from looking at the business growth implications of the Apprenticeship reforms, how to deliver Traineeships, taking advantage of Advanced Learning Loans, preparing for the Work and Health Programme and responding to the new devolved arrangements for skills delivery.

The workshop presenters will be a great mix of frontline programme deliverers and officials from government departments and agencies. Delegates will be guaranteed top tips and the most up-to-date information on each topic to support their strategic planning.

With 4 sessions, each delegate will be able to attend up to 4 workshops each. Providers can get even more value by bringing along more than one person to attend different workshops and AELP will be offering a special discount to make this an attractive proposition.

The chief executive of the Skills Funding Agency warned recently that providers face risk if they don’t adapt to radical changes in the sector. Our Spring Conference really will show you ways to minimise that risk. You can’t afford to miss it!
