Wisconsin Five - Day Academy for Spiritual Formation

Oct. 27 - Nov. 1, 2019

 

The Academy begins at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 27, 2019 with registration from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. that day. We encourage you to arrive in plenty of time to get settled in before the 4:30 p.m. with Eucharist.

The Academy runs through lunch on Friday, November 1. If you are flying, you should schedule a flight with a departure after 2:30 p.m. preferably from Milwaukee: Mitchell International Airport.

8:00 a.m. Breakfast

9:00 a.m. Morning Curriculum

11:00 a.m. Plenary discussion with faculty

12:00 noon Dinner

2:00 p.m. Afternoon Curriculum

3:00 p.m. Silent Reflection

4:00 p.m. Plenary discussion with faculty

5:30 p.m. Supper

6:45 p.m. Special Session or Options

7:30 p.m. Covenant Groups

9:15 p.m. Night Prayer

9:30 p.m. Silence until Morning Prayer

The rhythm of the day is embraced by morning and night prayer, and enriched with daily Eucharist. Faculty presentations are given each morning and afternoon, followed by silence for individual reflection and then group response time. Covenant groups offer time for fellowship, accountability, and reflection on the day.
