The Sedex VIP Networking Dinner  ***SOLD OUT***

With thanks to our Dinner Sponsor, SGS

Wine, dine and make valuable new connections at an exclusive dinner event in the heart of the City of London.

Join business and sustainability leaders from around the world at the Sedex networking dinner event in the extraordinary setting of the Barbican’s tropical plant conservatory: a secret garden oasis within the City of London. Enjoy a superb three course meal accompanied by excellent wine and network with industry leaders and peers from around the world.

The glamorous yet intimate dinner, designed for just 150 guests, will provide you with an exclusive opportunity to connect with industry experts and discuss the sustainability topics that really matter to you. The dinner will take place in the middle of the two-day Sedex Conference 2016, which will welcome around 1000 delegates to the iconic Barbican Centre.

The evening will include several networking rotations in addition to a seated dinner, meaning that throughout the night you will have multiple opportunities to connect with a wide variety of peers from across industries and regions. Whether it’s chatting over cocktails and canapes, or making deeper connections around a shared interest at your table, the dinner promises to be a rewarding and entertaining experience.

We are very pleased to announce that John Morrison, Executive Director of the Institute for Human Rights and Business, will be the after-dinner speaker. As a well known and influential voice on business and human rights, and a highly engaging and knowledgeable speaker, John's speech will be a real highlight of the evening.

The programme for the evening:

7.00pm: Dinner guests will be welcomed with a cocktail in the stunning tropical garden of the Barbican’s Conservatory, where they will meet and mingle with fellow diners.

7.30pm: Starters will be served in the form of delicious, bite-size canapes to extend the initial networking period.

8.00pm: Guests will be invited into the Garden Room and seated at tables of 10, where they will enjoy a delicious main course of their choice, accompanied by expertly chosen wine. To aid a relaxed and informal discussion, each table will take a particular sustainability topic as its starting point, which guests will be able to pre-select when booking. From water scarcity and empowering women, to combating bribery & corruption and improving auditing – the dinner table discussions should prove both insightful and valuable in terms of the connections made.

9.00pm: Over dessert, guests will hear from John Morrison, Executive Director of the Institute of Human Rights and Business and our Dinner Sponsor, SGS.

10.00pm: After guests have enjoyed tea or coffee, the evening will wind down to a close.
