Consumers need to be made aware of their options and understand how they can play a role in influencing the safety, quality, and cost of the health care that they receive. This event will move beyond political sound bites that often stifle conversations and raise awareness of ways in which all consumers, both left- and right-leaning, benefit from more involvement in their own care.
