Keith and Kristyn are excited to be announcing their new album ‘Facing a Task Unfinished’ which will be coming out in June 2016, with a Fall and Spring tour to follow! Facing a Task Unfinished was a hymn written by Frank Houghton in 1930 for the China Inland Mission as they faced immense persecution and ultimately eviction from China. In 1937, Houghton became the Bishop of East Szechwan, and later was appointed as director of the China Inland Mission. Last year, we had the privilege working with OMF International (formerly the China Inland Mission) to re-write the hymn Facing a Task Unfinished for their 150th anniversary celebrations in Singapore.  Despite the eviction of the missionaries, the story of China over the past century is an incredible one, set with the backdrop of aggressive atheism and government led persecution. The church has grown from 750K people to roughly 80 million. It is the biggest numerical growth of a religion in world history and stands as an inspiration to all of us. Houghton understood the power of a hymn to shape individuals, churches and transform communities by singing this incredible gospel story. It is our hope that this new album and the corresponding tour will seed a new collection of hymns to inspire 21st century churches to live out our hope for the world to see. The Facing a Task Unfinished tour follows the Getty’s 2015 Christmas tour which included sold out shows at Carnegie Hall, The John F. Kennedy Center, and The Fox Theatre in Atlanta. The Christmas tour was joined by their first Public Television special which played to over 40 million households in America. Don’t miss the celebration of carols that will be their Christmas concert next year! Printer Blaine Adamson of Hands On Originals in Lexington, KY, declined to print expressive shirts promoting the Lexington Pride Festival, hosted by the Gay and Lesbian Services Organization, because he did not want to convey the messages printed on the shirts. He nevertheless offered to connect the organization to another printer that would produce the shirts for the same price that he would have charged. Unsatisfied, GLSO filed a complaint with the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Human Rights Commission and alleged illegal discrimination despite eventually obtaining the shirts for free from another printer.

Greg Bogdan is Chief Operating Officer of Total Living International (TLI), a Christian media communications group with several divisions, including Total Living Network and Four:2 Media. Greg has been in Christian media for over 15 years and has a passion to impact society with the message of the gospel. Prior to his position with TLI, Greg was Founder and President of Christian Alliance Media Group, Inc., a Christian station representation agency. As part of his passion to reach the lost, Greg also has invested considerable time in West Africa, preaching in prisons and providing pastoral training. 

Brod Boyd serves as a consultant to media, non-profit, and governmental agencies. Todd Cantelon is the creative lead at TMG STUDIOS, Canada's #1 independent producer of Christian programming. H.B. Charles, Jr., was a 17-year-old senior at Los Angeles High School when Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church (MSMBC) ended a yearlong pastoral search by selecting him to succeed his father, Dr. H.B. Charles, Sr., whom the Lord called from labor to refreshment in June of 1989.

Over the course of Pastor Charles' pastorate, his love for God's Word, the Church, and lost people has been obvious to both the membership of MSMBC and the larger church community. Ron Dermer was born and raised in Miami Beach, Florida. He earned a degree in Finance and Management from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) from Oxford University. For three years, he was a columnist for the Jerusalem Post.

In 2004, Ron co-authored with Natan Sharansky the best-selling book, The Case For Democracy: The Power of Freedom to Overcome Tyranny and Terror, which has been translated into ten languages. Parul P. Desai is currently an attorney adviser with the Audio Division in the Media Bureau.  Prior to rejoining the Audio Division, Parul served as Assistant Bureau Chief and Director of Consumer Engagement in the Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau.  Parul also served as the first Open Internet ombudsperson, the public’s primary point of contact within the agency for formal and informal questions and complaints related to the Open Internet rules. Prior to joining the FCC, she was Policy Counsel for media, telecommunications and technology policy at Consumers Union and Vice President at Media Access Project. She is a graduate of Rutgers University and New York Law School.

A celebrated Emmy® nominated actress and producer, Roma Downey is best known for her nine seasons as the tender-hearted angel on the hit CBS television show Touched by an Angel, for which Downey earned multiple Emmy® and Golden Globe® best actress nominations.

Today, Downey is President of LightWorkers Media, the faith and family division of MGM Television, and also serves as the Chief Content Officer for the planned OTT channel.  She and her husband, Mark Burnett, produced the Emmy® nominated mini-series The Bible and the feature film Son of God.

Together, Downey and Burnett recently produced The Women of the Bible for LIFETIME, The Dovekeepers for CBS, A.D.: The Bible Continues for NBC, Answered Prayers for TLC, and the feature films Little Boy for Open Road Films and Woodlawn for Pure Flix. Helping others in Christian media reach their potential is Dr. Jennifer Hayden Epperson’s passion. Currently, she serves on NRB’s Radio Standing Committee, and is Moody Radio’s Director of Research and Learning. Previously, she was a station manager with Moody Radio and Blount Communications. Dr. Epperson has worked and taught in international contexts with Moody Radio’s Global Partners Training program and spent five years as the Executive Producer of TWR’s Women of Hope. In 2012, she completed a doctorate in organizational leadership with a minor in human resource development. She has taught leadership and radio courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Paul Eshleman is Vice President of Networks and Partnerships for Campus Crusade for Christ International. Eshleman founded the JESUS Film Project and was its Director for 25 years. He headed the nationwide “I Found it” campaign, EXPLO 72, and the Strategy Working Committee for the Lausanne Movement. Eshleman currently serves as the Executive Director of the Finishing the Task Network, and as President of the Issachar Initiative.

Micheal Flaherty is the President of Inkling Entertainment, a new production company he co-founded with his brother, Chip. Inkling's initial projects are The Great Gilly Hopkins (starring Glen Close, Octavia Spencer, and Kathy Bates) and Happy Mother's Day (starring Julia Roberts, Jennifer Aniston, and Kate Hudson). Eben Fowler joined Bott Radio Network in August of 2000 and serves as the Director of Operations. Katie Harbath is the Global Politics and Government Outreach Director at Facebook. Prior to Facebook, Harbath was the Chief Digital Strategist at the National Republican Senatorial Committee. Kathleen A. Kirby is a Partner with Wiley Rein, LLP in Washington, DC, and Chair of the firm’s Media Group. Ms. Kirby’s practice involves advising some of the country’s largest media groups on regulatory and policy matters, representing radio and television stations in connection with the full realm of FCC compliance, and counseling clients on the sale and acquisition of broadcast properties. She regularly advocates on behalf of media clients before Congress and the FCC. In addition, Ms. Kirby assists television, radio, and news media clients on any number of business matters. Ms. Kirby was chosen by the National Law Journal as one of the nation’s 75 Outstanding Women Lawyers, and she is regularly rated by Chambers USA as one of Washington, DC’s “Leading Lawyers” in her field.

Before attending law school, Ms. Kirby worked for almost a decade as a radio broadcaster in New York and Connecticut.

Dr. P. Satish Kumar is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Calvary Temple in Hyderabad, India, which is the fastest growing and third largest church in the world with more than 130,000 members in just ten years. Philip Kwiatkowski started working at Pacific Garden Mission as a counselor while he was a student at Moody Bible Institute more than 25 years ago. On August 13, 2013, Kwiatkowski was elected the ninth President of Pacific Garden Mission.

In the first six months of Kwiatkowski’s appointment, he addressed and reformed the entire staff and the chain of command for leadership. He responded to the record numbers of more than 1,100 people in the facility in 2015 by successfully implementing a new mission and vision statement.

Chris Lemke is in his 31st year at Cornerstone University’s market leading station, WCSG-FM in Grand Rapids, MI. He serves as Executive Director for the station and its sister ministry, Mission Network News, an internationally distributed news release. From fall 2011 to fall 2013, Lemke also filled the role of interim Executive Director and Board Chairman for Christian Music Broadcasters. He now serves as the CMB Board Secretary.

Bob Lepine is Sr. Vice President and Chief Creative Officer of FamilyLife and Co-Host of FamilyLife Today^®, FamilyLife's nationally syndicated radio program. A veteran of Christian radio, Bob has a degree in communications from the University of Tulsa. Prior to joining FamilyLife in 1992, Bob worked for local radio stations in Tulsa, Phoenix, Sacramento and San Antonio. Lori Lewis' radio career spans 25 years, starting out as an on-air talent with the nationally syndicated show Bubba the Love Sponge. In 2008, Lewis left day-to-day programming and created a new position at Duke Wright’s Midwest Communications: Director of Digital and Social Strategies. In 2011, Jacobs Media tapped Lewis to help their clients’ digital and social needs. Most recently, in 2015, Lewis joined Lew Dickey and Cumulus/Westwood One in another newly created position for the industry: Vice President, Social Media.

For more than 30 years, Susan Michael has pioneered the development of the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ) in the United States and around the world. She currently serves as the ministry’s USA Director and is a member of the ICEJ’s international Board of Directors.

Marianne Milano’s broadcast career spans 30 years, starting out as a TV news producer, anchor, and reporter at a few television stations on the East Coast and then moving on to host a nightly entertainment program, PM Magazine, in Providence, RI.  Through this role, Milano had opportunities to host various TV specials in Boston and Rhode Island as well as LIVE community events for various non-profits.

After her move to Minnesota, Milano became an executive producer and host for video promotions at Internet Broadcasting in Minneapolis, where she produced and hosted TV and online promotions and programs for more than 50 TV stations across the country.

Three years ago, after being a long-time major donor to 98.5 KTIS, Milano joined the radio station, where she now directs the Audience Engagement department.

Dr. R. Albert Mohler, Jr., is the President of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is an esteemed authority on contemporary issues and has been recognized by such influential publications as Time and Christianity Today as a leader among American evangelicals.

Robert Norton has worked for more than 25 years in the production and financing of feature films.  For six years he was Chief Operating Officer of Scott Free, the film production company helmed by directors Ridley and Tony Scott, during the production of Crimson Tide, G.I. Jane, and Gladiator. He began his career at Lucasfilm, Ltd.                               

In 2013, he was a producer of the feature film Grace Unplugged, released by Lionsgate Entertainment and starring A.J. Michalka and James Denton. 

Norton is a member of The British Academy of Film and Television Arts and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. He earned his MBA from Harvard Business School. 

Becky Norton Dunlop’s duties and travel itinerary as The Heritage Foundation’s vice president for external relations have made her the think tank's “chief ambassador” outside the Beltway.

Dunlop, who joined Heritage in 1998, oversees four program areas – Coalition Relations, Lectures and Seminars, Young Leaders Program and Strategic Outreach – that are focused on spreading conservative ideas in a host of outside forums. Her responsibilities include advising and consulting with fellow leaders in the private and public sectors.

She previously served inside the White House, at the Department of Justice and at the Department of the Interior as a senior official in the Reagan administration from 1981-1989. She specializes in broadcast media regulation and compliance, telecommunications policy matters, and media and telecommunications transactions. Ms. Sashkin has significant expertise in all matters of FCC regulation, licensing, and compliance of broadcast television and radio stations, and she frequently represents client interests in legal and policy proceedings before the FCC. Prior to joining Fletcher, Heald, & Hildreth in 2008, Ms. Sashkin was an associate with the communications firm Irwin, Campbell & Tannenwald, P.C., and completed legal clerkships with the FCC and National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) in the U.S. Department of Commerce. Prior to law school, Ms. Sashkin worked in the field of corporate communications.

Barronelle Stutzman, the sole owner of Arlene’s Flowers in Richland, Wash., has for her entire career served and employed people who identify as homosexual. Despite this, the American Civil Liberties Union and the Washington attorney general allege that she is guilty of unlawful discrimination because she acted consistent with her faith and declined to use her creative skills to beautify the same-sex ceremony of a long-time customer, Robert Ingersoll, and another man, Curt Freed.

Matt Thomas serves as the Executive Director of Know The Truth Ministries, the Bible teaching ministry of Pastor Philip De Courcy. John spent 26 years in secular broadcasting management working for NBC, CBS, and FOX affiliates in New York, Phoenix, Sacramento, and Norfolk VA.  Positions held were, LSM, NSM, GSM – VP for The New York Times Broadcast Group. 

Dr. Paul Virts recently opened his own media consulting business, Virts Media. From 2002 to 2015, he was the Senior Vice President for Media at the University of Northwestern, overseeing Northwestern’s 15 radio stations and one satellite radio network, with a staff of 90 employees and an annual budget of $18 million. 

Prior to joining Northwestern’s radio network, Virts served for four years as the Chief Operating Officer of Leading the Way with Dr. Michael Youssef. Before that, he was the Director of Media at the KMA agency in Dallas, TX.

Virts served as Vice President for Development at The King’s College (New York), Director of Client Services and Manager of Corporate Research at Christian Broadcasting Network (Virginia), and Professor of Broadcasting at Regent University (Virginia). He also spent two years as a researcher, administrator, and consultant with Daystar Communications, Nairobi, Kenya.

In 1990, Phil Vischer created VeggieTales, an animated video series crafted to teach Christian values to kids in a delightfully different way. More than 60 million VeggieTales videos have been sold around the world. These days, Vischer continues to pursue innovative new ways to integrate faith and storytelling through his creative company, Jellyfish Labs. Kristen K. Waggoner, Esq., serves as senior counsel and senior vice president of legal advocacy with Alliance Defending Freedom, where she leads the organization’s legal and media efforts.

Waggoner joined ADF in 2013 to support thousands of allied attorneys in their efforts to preserve religious freedom. She has trained allied attorneys and organizations on religious liberty issues and rights of conscience. She has also provided allies with legal support on cases pertaining to life, marriage, and family.

Steve Werkmeister’s career spans 16 years and multiple sectors, including work for the national brands SunTrust Bank, Circuit City, and since 2009, Salem Web Network. As the Director of Marketing, he has led the growth of one of the world’s largest faith-based, online communities, reaching millions of Christians through a rapidly evolving digital landscape. Canon Andrew White, known as the “Vicar of Baghdad,” is the pastor of St. George’s Baghdad, one of the largest churches in Iraq and the only remaining Anglican church in Iraq.  In the face of significant threats to him personally and repeated bombings of the church, St George’s Baghdad ministers to over 4000 Iraqis and operates well outside the safety of the International Green Zone. Most of the members of the congregation are women and children – widows and orphans – since many of the men have been killed in the decades of violence in Iraq.  In addition, many of his staff have been kidnapped or killed, with up to 11 killings of his staff in a single year.

Canon White has also been heavily involved in conflict mediation and reconciliation efforts in Israel and Palestine, including negotiating the end of the Bethlehem siege in 2002, and has been the recipient of numerous peace prizes for his reconciliation efforts.

St. George’s Baghdad also operates a medical and dental clinic which delivers humanitarian relief to neighbors of the church, regardless of the patients’ religious or ethnic background. The clinic provides free medical and dental care to around 150 Iraqi patients every day.

David Wills is President of National Christian Foundation (NCF), a position he has held since 1998. NCF is the world’s largest Christian grant-making foundation, serving more than 13,000 families. Historically, NCF has distributed more than $6 billion in grants to more than 40,000 charitable organizations all over the world.
