Peer Review of Assessment Workshops

Higher Ed Services (HES) and the University of Tasmania (UTAS) are delighted to support the higher education sector through hosting Peer Review of Assessment Workshops across four States during March and April, 2017.

The workshops, which build on the national series held in 2016, will provide practical support mechanisms to the higher education sector for complying with the Higher Education Standards Framework which came into effect on 1 January this year. Based on feedback from last year’s events, these workshops will include more time for discussion and networking.

National Release of Peer Review Portal

HES and UTAS are excited to announce that the workshops will include information about a peer review portal which has been developed to support the sector. It will provide a cost-effective, efficient, and just-in-time solution for HE institutions that will significantly reduce time and costs in administrative and academic work in quality reviews.

The weblink for the Portal is peerreviewportal.com

A key feature of the Portal is that it calibrates all information for institutional reporting.

A small, innovative Sydney-based IT company, CyberDesignWorks (CDW), has developed the portal. See: http://cdwsydney.com.au/

The workshops will be of interest to academic and professional staff working universities and private higher education institutions and will provide an excellent opportunity for networking
