Nicola Anderson
SmArt Pack Account Manager, Sonoco-Trident
Having left school in Hull UK aged 16, Nicola started her initial career in Recruitment as an office Junior, Nicola soon made her way up through the organisation and by the age of 18 had been promoted to Recruitment Consultant where she was responsible for over 30 temporary contract employees, that she had successfully interviewed and secured employment for within some very large organisations.
 
During her time within the recruitment industry, Nicola had been exposed to so many different positions, job roles and organisations and she strived for something more challenging and inspiring. Having set out to find something that could quench her passion and drive, she was soon offered a customer service position with Sonoco-Trident then based in Beverley near Hull. Having researched the company prior to interviews Nicola soon came to realise that this was what she had been looking for in both a career and a company. Now, over 15 years later, she has successfully worked her way up through the organisation and has been recognised for her dedication, passion and ever-growing knowledge for packaging and exceptional customer service. In 2007 Nicola became a very proud mum to Lolah who most certainly helps keep her up to date with new trends and what inspires the Genx generation.
 
Having been promoted again 15 months ago within Sonoco-Trident, Nicola is now the Account Manager for the SmArt Pack Division where she regularly works with over 50 FMCG Companies, over 2,000 different brands, marketeers and design agencies from around the globe. Working on many high-profile projects, to date, Nicola has worked or been involved with in excess of 20,000 projects, for the supply of digitally printed quality packaging mock up samples. Nicola is always on the lookout for new packaging trends, and always keen to evolve, understand and try new ideas and most importantly how she can offer these to her existing and new clients. Nicola identified early last year the potential of personalised bespoke packaging in collaboration with “Social Influencers” and how they can help promote brands and packaging on social media platforms. Nicola speaks very passionately about this with her customers and how her team can facilitate this and has recently secured two major brands to work alongside her on the design adaptation, output and supply of personalised branded packaging, which have both been a major success.
 
Due to her passion and drive, over the last 15 months Nicola has successfully turned her department back in to a rewarding, profitable and much needed in-demand service for her existing and new client base, and is very excited on the prospects for the future of Digital Print and what exciting projects she will be discussing next with her clients.
 
 
Alon Bar-Shany
General Manager, Indigo Division at HP
Based in Nes Ziona, Israel, Alon Bar-Shany has worldwide responsibility for the HP Indigo Division since 2004. Alon oversees all aspects of the development, marketing and deployment of HP Indigo solutions to an installed base of over 4 thousand customers in 120 countries. A strong advocate of close customer relationships, he also sits on the Global Board of Directors of Dscoop, the independent users association of HP Graphic Arts solutions. Prior to this role, Alon ran the HP Indigo business in the Europe, the Middle East and Africa region (EMEA), and served as the chief financial officer of HP Indigo from 1998 until 2002 as well as corporate vice president of finance for HP Indigo from 1995. Alon joined HP Indigo from Israel Chemicals Ltd. in 1995, where he held various executive positions in finance, strategic planning and business development. Alon holds a master’s degree in business administration and a bachelor’s degree in history and economics from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He is married to Cathy and has four children, and enjoys music, reading, gardening and travel.
 
Chris Baréz-Brown

Chris Baréz-Brown is a master of transformation. He is fascinated by people and what makes them tick. He established the consultancy Upping Your Elvis in 2010. Upping Your Elvis helps businesses win in times of change. By embedding a human, energetic and creative working culture they wake up organisations around the world. Chris aims to ensure that every day at work is more human, more fun and more impactful and works across the world as an in-demand speaker and trainer. Chris has worked with The Nike Foundation to help teenage girls escape the poverty cycle in Africa. His other philanthropic ventures include Talk it Out, an impactful social enterprise determined to make a positive impact on people’s mental wellbeing around the world. And as co-founder of Street Wisdom, a social movement which explores the idea that urban environments are full of wisdom and answers which people can learn to tune into.

Chris lives in Dorset with his family, a 35 year old Land Rover, two Cocker Spaniels and a selection of paddleboards and guitars.

 
Dharminder Biharie

Dharminder has designed new business models for German marine tech companies, Fespa Association Netherlands and facilitated a diabetic prevention technology design workshop for the medical industry. He hosts a series of a podcasts about innovation in the Netherlands. He facilitates workshops, master classes, helps entrepreneurs with business model improvement and transformation and is a regular speaker. Dharminder has his own radio show on New Business Radio, called Fuck-Up Friday. CEOs, MDs and entrepreneurs share their mistakes failures so that others can learn and avoid the mistakes. 
 
 
Joris Bosch
Director, Wihabo
Joris Bosch is, together with his father Willy and brother Ruud, the driving force behind Wihabo, a printing company founded in 1986 by the brothers Willy and Hans Bosch. Joris has the printing business as a domain: there is really no press, device or machine that has the least secret to him. Joris is seven years old when he knows he wants to be a printer. When he sees his father and uncle (the founders of Wihabo) at work, he wants to do nothing more than the same thing. That begins with folding and stapling of flyers and booklets, but after some time he stands behind the printing press. The years that follow are predictable: after several graphic studies and through several internships he is soon a full printer. Today, Joris is the director of a printing company with more than 50 employees. Thanks to three high-quality digital printing presses, automated finishing possibilities and an intelligent digitalized work flow, Wihabo develops expressly as a digital printing specialist. They understand digital printing and the web-to-print process and production requirements. They arrange their work flow to meet customers’ wishes and offer certainty and continuity: the certainty of super-fast daily production and the continuity of a high printing capacity that can always counterbalance demanding production peaks.
 
Henrik Christianson
CEO / Co-owner, Graphic Robotics
Henrik Christiansen is a Danish citizen living in Limhamn just outside Malmö, Sweden. Henrik has a comprehensive experience within the global printing industry, marketing and selling offset presses and developing and marketing various ancillary equipment and robot applications for the printing industry. Henrik speaks, besides the Scandinavian languages, English, German, French, Spanish and Portuguese to a very decent level of business negotiation. Henrik has written several articles about the printing and finishing technologies, the economics of printing, temperature and dampening water behavior, coating units for dispersion and UV coatings. His articles about robotics are mainly linked to applications, production capacity, productivity and the robotic impact on the print production environment by removing the heavy lifts from the industry.
 
Iban Cid
President, Germark
Iban joined Germark at the age of 18, the family company founded in 1958 by his father. He ran the commercial department for 5 years and has been CEO since 1998. In 2000, Germark purchased the first digital label press installed in Spain and in 2008, they invested in the first adhesive and silicone coating press in Spain. In the summer of 2014, they invested in a new HP Indigo WS6800, which has taken Germark, based in Barcelona, to the top of the Spanish label printing industry. Iban has been active in many national and international associations for our industry: former president of FINAT, Worldwide Self-adhesive Industry Association; former president of ANFEC, a Spanish association of label printers; former board member of ACC1Ó, which is a public-private agency, to boost exports and innovation of Catalan companies; nowadays is the President of the Gremi d’Indústries Gràfiques de Catalunya (Catalan Graphic Arts Guild), President of the Antoni Algueró Foundation and member of the the Plenary Council of the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce.

Yoan Georgiev

Yoan started his career in 1993 with working for a Publishinghouse located in Sofia. He then honed his skills in pre-press and production in one of the first Service Bureaus in Sofia and K+K Advertising agency. During these years he built strong knowledge on the printing industry, pre-press and leading technologies. Since 2002 Yoan is working for Bulged Ltd. which is the leading digital printer in Bulgaria. His priorities are organization, new business development and integrating new technologies. Developing the personalised printing market, web-to-print solutions, and customer products are his top priorities at the moment.

Finally, Xavier joined Antalis International in 2010 as Group Marketing & Purchasing Director and in 2014, he took the additional responsibility for the Antalis International Key Account team for the Print, Office & Visual communication sectors

After Sony he served as Managing Director for Apple in Germany. In 1999 he accepted the entire general management responsibility at OneVision.
