Erik Pekarski joined the IBACOS team as Director and Vice President of national and international Business Development in January of 2012. His past positions include corporate vice president of Strategic Operations and vice president of Customer Relations at Pulte Homes Group; senior vice president of International Investor and Client Relations at DAMAC Holding Group and senior vice president of marketing and business development at New Home Star, a real estate sales and marketing company based in Chicago. During the time he led the National Customer Relations Department at Pulte, they achieved the homebuilding industry’s #1 ranking in customer satisfaction by J.D. Power & Associates for four consecutive years and the corporation was the recipient of the NHQ Gold Award, the only large builder to do so. He was voted one of Michigan’s top 40 business leaders under the age of 40 by Crain’s Business. Erik has been consulted as an industry expert for the following publications: the Wall Street Journal, “The Voice of the Customer,” by Kemba J. Dunham; Satisfaction: How Every Great Company Listens to the Voice of the Customer, by Chris Denove and James D. Power; The Customer Rules: Indispensible Qualities of the Greatest Service Companies in the World, by Robert Shook and C. Powers’ Market Awards, etc. Charlie is a frequent industry speaker at the International Builders Show, Urban Land Institute, the Benchmark Conference, National Association of Realtors, PCBC, SEBC, SWBC, and was the keynote speaker at the London Homebuilding Consortium and the India Real Estate Investment Trust in Gurgaon, India.
