Dr. Satya Brink
Dr. Satya Brink is an Adjunct Professor in Gerontology at Simon Fraser University. She worked for the Government of Canada, international organizations and academia for over 30 years. She is currently a consultant, specializing in policy research and in translating complex research evidence and policy options for decision makers and the public. She is widely published and she has presented research papers and key note addresses to international academic, government and professional audiences in five continents.
 
Sue Bidrose
CEO, Dunedin City Council

Sue started working in local government in Auckland in 2005 after some years working in central government, most notably as a researcher and policy-maker in the Ministry of Social Development.  Her career has included time in the not-for-profit sector, and in the public sector.  She has lived and worked in New Zealand, the USA, South Africa and the UK. 

 

 
Dr Susan Koch

Dr Koch is Director RDNS Institute La Trobe University and is an internationally recognised leader in the field of dementia care services in the home-based setting. She is currently Chair of the Australian Government Minister’s Dementia Advisory Group. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Nursing, Australia and Fellow Australian Association of Ageing. Susan has led and/or been a co investigator on numerous research projects and a number of consultancy projects both at a State and National level. Her research has its focus on practice issues including restraint use; elder abuse; care for people living with dementia and medicine management. She has published and presented her research findings at national and international venues. Susan has supervised numerous higher degree candidates through to successful completion.

 
Geoff Pearman

Geoff is an experienced manager, facilitator and consultant who is recognised for his strategic and future thinking skills, his ability to initiate and implement complex organisational change and to develop innovative approaches to programme and service delivery. Geoff’s skills have been developed through leadership roles in the tertiary education, government and human services sectors. Geoff is an experienced workshop facilitator and conference speaker having presented at conferences in New Zealand, Australia, UK, Canada and the USA. He developed the Staying On programme which has now been implemented in a large New Zealand government agency and is now being introduced to companies in Australia and New Zealand. This programme was a finalist in the NZ Human Resource Institutes 2011 awards. Now based in SE Queensland Geoff continues to work with clients in New Zealand and Australia.
