Who Should Attend?
This training is designed for all NPS employees and NPS partners that are looking to strengthen their community engagement skills. You'll learn and discuss ideas for building community outreach through partnerships, whether focused on programs, fundraising, retail, etc. While it is not a requirement, we highly recommend attending the training with your agency or nonprofit partner.
In addition to cooperating associations and friends groups, we would like to invite other organizations connected to NPS, including, but not limited to: National Heritage Areas; National Historic Landmarks; Rivers, Trails and Conservation Assistance Program Partners; Southwest Border Resource Protection Program Partners; and Japanese-American Confinement Sites.

Training Costs
There is no registration
fee for NPS employees or partners through the generosity of the NPS
Intermountain Region. Participants are responsible for their own travel, lodging and incidental costs. Although no meals are formally provided, participants staying at the Embassy Suites Downtown Denver Convention Center will receive a
complimentary breakfast. Beverage break service will be provided during the
training.

Registration for this training is limited to 60 participants. Online registration is required to secure your space in this training. Registrations will be taken on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Space is limited! Please do not register until you can fully commit to participating.
Be sure to make your hotel reservation at the Embassy Suites Downtown Denver Convention Center as soon as possible. The special room rate of $178/night is valid until the room block is full or August 4, 2017, whichever occurs first. After August 4 room rates could increase significantly and are based on hotel availability.
