Barnard oversees the industry’s largest wholesale auction network in North America consisting of 115 traditional and mobile sites. Janet previously served as president of Manheim North America. Prior to joining Manheim, Barnard served as senior vice president and general manager for Cox Communications’ (CCI) Central Region. Her responsibilities included growing the $1.2 billion region’s voice, data and video services across its residential and commercial base of more than 700,000 customers.

His organization merged with three other large independent dealers to create a publicly held company known as Smart Choice Automotive Group before joining Leedom and Associates, LLC in 2001 as a moderator.

In 1999, Jim founded Auto Data Direct, Inc. and pioneered the use of Internet-based access to driver license and automobile records maintained in government databases. Over the next 20 years, ADD became known for providing forward-thinking, industry-specific solutions delivered with responsive and personalized customer service.
Billy Threadgill
Billy Threadgill is president of Van's Auto Sales in Florence, S.C. and president of the National Independent Automobile Dealers Association. Threadgill is a second-generation dealer, operating the dealership opened by his father Van on March 12, 1975. Billy has experience in all aspects of the dealership, from washing cars as a boy to running a related finance company, a U-Save auto rental franchise and a subsidized transit company that provides transportation to and from work for federal employees. Threadgill was recently honored by members of the South Carolina legislature for his continuous efforts to support the Free Enterprise system and to enhance the reputation of independent automobile dealers.
Elbert Tilghman
Marketing and Development
Elbert Tilghman has been involved in the automobile industry since 1983, having worked in a Subaru dealership and a Toyota dealership where he was the special finance manager and was inducted into the Toyota Sales Society. He also was the senior vice president of credit at Search Capital, a publicly traded sub-prime finance company doing business in 36 states. He worked for CARS Protection Plus, an auto warranty company where he grew a territory to $2 million in annual sales. He was the general manager for AutoStar Solutions, a Dealer Management System software company where sales grew to over $13 million annually and was subsequently sold to DealerSocket. He has been a partner in AutoZoom since 2002 and two years ago came on full time to help develop marketing and develop systems for the company.
Gordon Tormohlen
Illinois IADA
Gordon Tormohlen began his automotive career at the age of 13, working in various areas of the dealership and as an automotive consultant before running his own dealership. In 2003, Mr. Tormohlen sold his Chrysler franchise and opened Tormohlen’s Good People Automotive, a used vehicle dealership and finance company. Tormohlen is a National Automobile Dealer’s Association Certified Manager, a recipient of the Northwood University Dealer Education Award, and was the Illinois TIME Magazine Quality Dealer of the Year in 2000. In 2013, Tormohlen was selected as the Illinois Independent Auto Dealer of the Year. In addition to operating Buy Here-Pay Here dealerships in Illinois and Wisconsin, Tormohlen serves as Chairman of the Automotive Curriculum Committee for Northwood University, Chairman of the Illinois Independent Auto Dealers Association, and is NIADA’s Region III Vice President.
Travis Weisleder

Travis Weisleder is the co-founder of InterActive Financial Marketing Group, one of the first companies to ever market to the bad credit customer, starting back in 1989 with 1-800-CAR-LOAN. IFMG today leverages its marketing knowledge and brands to help its dealer partners sell more cars. IFMG’s offerings range from online lead generation, text messaging solutions and 800 number call processing. Mr. Weisleder is also a serial entrepreneur, having started various companies in high school and college before founding IFMG, having it become the largest in the space, selling it and subsequently buying it back. In between he started various ecommerce companies and has been an angel investor in various startups in the Richmond, Virginia area.

He has been working with Buy Here-Pay Here dealerships and their owners for over 20 years. CliftonLarsonAllen LLP is a national firm with over 110 local offices throughout the U.S. Dave works in the dealership industry niche group with over 60 professionals dedicated to the auto and related finance company industry. He is a certified public accountant, certified financial planner, and certified fraud examiner.
Kerri Wise

Kerri Wise is vice president of dealer education at TrueCar. In her role, she leads dealer training initiatives and events focused on helping dealers understand the tools and best practices that can maximize their success on TrueCar. Kerri's automotive career spans nearly 19 years helping both dealers and OEMs improve their strategies using consumer trends, best practices and analytics. Prior to joining TrueCar, Kerri spent 4 years at Edmunds.com as an executive director of dealer training, leading both dealer and internal sales training. Kerri also spent 12 years at J.D. Power and Associates working in several areas including OEM sales and dealer consulting.
Marshall Zoerner

Marshall Zoerner is co-owner and general manager of Freeman Motor Company, a luxury European car dealership and service center in Portland Oregon. He and wife Rachel have been married for over 12 years and have three kids: Elias, Evien, and Gianni. Marshall is an established member of NIADA’s 20 Group. He is a three time CMD dealer and attends over 80 hours of training a year to stay up on the latest technology and industry metrics. Marshall started when Freeman had only three employees selling 30 cars a month. Now, with 55 employees, a full service center and autospa, the store sells over 100 cars and closes 700 repair orders a month. A strong believer that success is the result of consistent training, Marshall has implemented training throughout every department at Freeman. After 17 years of experience in hiring, training, and growing a successful company, he has recently launched Dealer Consultant Pro, reaching out to help independent dealers in "untangling the mess" in their dealerships.
