The National Candle Association will host the 2014 Conference & Expo at the Louisville Marriott Downtown, in Louisville, KY. Since its first gathering in 1974, the NCA has held informative meetings aimed at increasing the knowledge of participants on all aspects of the industry, and a focus on promoting candle safety, product advancement and sustainability. Celebrating 40 Years in the Winner’s Circle will offer technical presentations and workshops that explore a variety of issues impacting the candle business. At the Expo, attendees will have the opportunity to meet with suppliers, and gain valuable information while networking with industry peers.

 

Venue

The Louisville Marriott Downtown is in an ideal location, providing guests with easy access just eight miles from Louisville International Airport. The hotel is within a few blocks of the Fourth Street Live Entertainment District where visitors can experience Louisville's vibrant night life. There's also the Urban Bourbon Trail for those interested in sampling spirits, and the emerging East Market District, also known as NuLu.

• NCA's committee meetings will take place on the afternoon of Monday, June 2 and the morning of Tuesday, June 3.
• The Golf Tournament is scheduled for the morning of Wednesday, June 4.
• The Expo will start at Noon on Wednesday, June 4.
• The ASTM meeting will take place on Friday morning, June 6.
