Course outline
A one day course to increase awareness amongst rheumatologists and other musculoskeletal practitioners of recent advances in capillaroscopy and the increased relevance of capillaroscopy to the rheumatologist given that abnormal capillaroscopy is one of the new 2013 classification criteria for systemic sclerosis.
Course objectives
To increase delegates awareness of recent advances in capillaroscopy |

To raise the relevance of capillaroscopy given that abnormal capillaroscopy is one of the 2013 classification criteria for systemic sclerosis |

To discuss indications for capillaroscopy and the different methodologies |
|
To allow delegates to perform capillaroscopic examinations with (a) high magnification videocapillaroscopy (b) dermoscopy |
|
To describe the abnormalities which are suggestive of a systemic sclerosis-spectrum disorder |
|
To demonstrate an awareness of application of capillaroscopy in the research setting |
