About the 2013 Michigan UAS conference


Sponsored by the Michigan Advanced Aerial System Consortium (MIAASC) and in partnership with the AUVSI Great Lakes Chapter, the 2013 Michigan UAS Conference will showcase various UAS technologies and real life applications, and will feature key industry leaders discussing the future of the UAS industry in Michigan and the integration of UASs in the National Airspace System (NAS). The event will be attended by more than 150 people and will bring together industry experts, renowned guest speakers and a number of companies, academia, and military and government organizations to exchange valuable industry information.
 

MIAASC is a Michigan state-wide and industry-driven consortium that joins leaders in the unmanned systems industry with members of educational and research institutions, government agencies and the industry.  MIAASC intends to make of this industry, a source of continuously growing wealth for the state of Michigan, the Great Lakes region, and for the United States as a whole. The Consortium has now grown into a full state partnership, encompassing more than 35 organizations, bringing together a number of public and private partners; in aim to become the USA prime UAS location for testing, development, training and manufacturing activities.

The two-day conference is a tailored-made event dedicated to members of educational and research institutions, government agencies, industry and military that are directly involved with UAS or have an interest to learn more about this promising aerospace segment.
