While we encourage all participants to utilize public transportation, taxicabs and other car services such as Uber are also always available to take you from point A to point B in NYC.

We recommend taking advantage of New York City’s extensive public transportation system. Visit the MTA’s website to learn more view schedules, fares, and maps. New York City is also a very walkable city, and depending on the location of your accommodations, it may be easy to walk to attractions and restaurants.

3. What is the typical climate like in New York City in June?
Spring/early summer is the best time to be in New York City, bringing warmer weather with less humidity and temperatures ranging from 50-80 degrees Fahrenheit, although June occasionally sees a 90 degree day.
