Rev. Jasmine Rose Smothers became the first female, African–American appointed as the youngest lead Pastor of historic First Atlanta First United Methodist Church.

Rev. Jasmine Rose Smothers serves the church and community as an ordained United Methodist elder, preacher, teacher, church consultant, leadership coach, author, community advocate, and self-proclaimed technology geek!

She has participated on many task forces on Ministry with Young People. She has also contributed to several publications and is the co-author of the best Selling book, Not Safe For Church: The Ten Commandments for Reaching New Generations.
