Jonathan Moore, Managing Director of the Mining Indaba says, “We are honoured to receive this recognition. We have long believed that the world class partnerships, the hospitality and warmth of the people, and natural beauty of Cape Town and South Africa have been a contributing factor to the success and allure of the annual Mining Indaba. Together with our host city we are offering the global mining community a truly unique and beneficial experience. We plan on staying for a while.”

South African Tourism’s (SA Tourism) Ubuntu Awards celebrate new and innovative ways of promoting South Africa as a compelling destination to consumers and institutions.  The evening was hosted by SA Tourism’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Thulani Nzima, along with a special appearance by Minister of Tourism in South Africa, Hon. Derek Hanekom and H.E. Mninwa Mahlangu, South Africa Ambassador to the United States.
