The foodservice industry is evolving and our industry can no longer be inwardly focused. The new 2014 Foodservice Fundamentals provides a primer on not only the industry, but the consumers and operators that create and drive demand. The program’s new data and fast-paced training will provide attendees increased understanding of the new foodservice landscape to aid in strategy development as well as sales/marketing plans.  

Program format includes:
  • Welcome to foodservice; overview of the industry 
  • Trading partner dynamics, including GPO’s and Distributors
  • Segment and channel nuances
  • Foodservice Consumer eater types
  • Consumer occasions and how they drive decisions
  • Relevant  menu and flavor trends and the menu adoption cycle

In addition, attendees will receive…
  • A laminated copy of the Foodservice Landscape, a two-sided tool that gives operator information such as unit counts and growth outlook on the front and consumer information such as occasion and eater type on the back) and instruction on how to use for marketing & sales planning
  • A copy of the presentation deck (hard and soft copies)
  • An abridged version of the new Insights Library which contains detailed information on the industry
  • A certificate of completion

Group Interaction
Not only will attendees have the opportunity to interact with presenters, but interactive Q & A will reinforce learnings. There are also plenty of opportunities to network with their classmates during meals and coffee breaks.

Meeting Cost
Registration Fee $695 per person - IFMA membership is required for registration. Fee includes all meeting materials and programmed meal functions. 

Cancellation Policy :
All changes and/or cancellations must be submitted to IFMA in writing.
Notification before 10 business days prior to each seminar - Full refund.
Notification between 10 and 3 business days prior to each seminar - 50% refund. 
Notification less than 3 days prior to each seminar - No refund.
