Andy Epstein started his career as a freelance designer and illustrator. Jumping into the world of in-house in 1992, Andy created and grew in-house design teams for Commonwealth Toy and Gund. He later restructured and expanded the hundred-person creative team at Bristol-Myers-Squibb and consulted at Johnson & Johnson. After a three year stint at Designer Greetings leading an in-house design team responsible for the company’s product lines and Point Of Sales materials, Andy has moved back into pharma heading up a 65+ managed services team for The BOSS Group at Merck.

Andy has written and spoken extensively on in-house issues and published “The Corporate Creative”, a book on in-house design, in partnership with F&W Publications in the spring of 2010. He is a co-founder of InSource, an association dedicated to providing support to in-house designers and design team managers and recently completed a 4 year engagement as head of INitiative the AIGA In-house Design program where he continued his efforts to empower in-house teams and raise their stature in the design and business communities.

Patrice Marturana is a leader in project management and business development. Her history as a business owner of an eLearning software company instilled the importance of having a formal project management process in place for any size company. Patrice is an insightful analyst and problem solver with very high standards for quality and client satisfaction.

As a Boss Group employee she provides leadership and heads up the project management team for Merck Creative Studios. She and her team are responsible for the outstanding delivery of multi-creative projects including Print, Interactive & Web development. Patrice is challenged every day in achieving project goals and objectives while staying within the constraints and budgets of her clients. Her proven ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects by leading cross-functional teams and improving organizational processes makes her a proven, successful leader in the industry.

 

 


 

 
Christine Molinaro [More Info]

Christine Molinaro started her career in graphic and web design during the dotcom era. Her knowledge and ability to interpret client needs and execute projects from concept to finish allowed her to build business management and development skills and move into project and client management. Coordinating a broad array of projects in industries ranging from financial services and health care, to manufacturing and college marketing, Christine has leveraged her abilities as an analytical and a conceptual thinker who effectively partners with key stakeholders to assess opportunities, facilitate strategic initiatives, and drive successful implementations.

At Vertis Communications, Christine successfully built and launched an online communications tool to support account teams across the country for a major pharmaceutical firm.  Most recently she has built and led a project management team for The BOSS Group at Merck and now heads the 35+ design and project management teams at Merck Creative Studios. As a project success expert, Christine has participated as a speaker and panelist at numerous industry events. She has her yellow belt in Six Sigma and is currently obtaining her PMP certification.

Dan Mucha, Senior Consultant at Cella Consulting, helps creative teams at Fortune 500 companies, as well as at mid-sized businesses, government entities, and educational institutions in selecting and implementing project management and digital asset management solutions, in addition to providing more general creative operations consulting support. Dan has a deep belief that process and people need to be addressed in order to successfully implement and adopt technology solutions. Dan writes about these topics on Cella’s blog.

Prior to consulting, Dan co-founded a vanguard marketing services firm and served as an EVP/Managing Director of a top B2B communications firm. He holds a BA in Psychology from Ripon College and an MBA with Honors from the University of Chicago.
