Rigorous Evaluation of Asset-Building Programs: What Does it Take?

Wednesday, September 17, 2014
4-5 pm

Room: Gallery Place

Practitioners are increasingly being asked to participate in rigorous research of their programs as the field builds the evidence base for asset-building programs. However, not all programs are suited for a rigorous evaluation, nor are program managers always prepared to invest the time and resources necessary to successfully coordinate this type of evaluation. In this roundtable, practitioners will have the opportunity to hear from two organizations about their experience in coordinating randomized control trials of their programs, as well as get the funder and evaluator perspective on what makes a successful collaboration.
