Developing a Cloud enabled business model

Cloud computing is entering a fresh, exciting phase of mature growth. From developers, to CFOs, to investors and everybody in between, everyone loves the speed, flexibility, and cost savings that the cloud promises to bring.  Join us to discuss what is not talked about - all of the attributes needed to execute a successful cloud strategy.

Riding the data wave into the Cloud

As organisations increasingly look to manage their data and applications in cloud based solutions, Kevin will share some insights into Telstra’s cloud journey – what they set out to achieve and key learnings.  With this knowledge, Telstra are now helping their customers make a successful transition into their range of cloud based offerings. Kevin will also provide a personal perspective into the rapidly changing technology landscape and what’s on the horizon.

Harnessing the power of the Cloud

This presentation will focus on how the migration to a cloud-enabled business is a journey of intense change both for IT and the business as a whole. It is one both parties must undertake together and in close alignment or risk missing out on the full benefits that cloud offers. In the foreseeable future a hybrid world will also be a reality where legacy systems and cloud computing coexist.  In this environment companies will need to orchestrate and manage a range of services from outside providers, third-party providers and internal departments to successfully deliver IT-as-a-Service to the business.
