#1. CoNAM Workshop
This study will trace the history and models of Methodist missions with Indigenous Peoples up until the 21st century. Participants will learn about modern relational evangelism models that emerged from the United Methodist Church’s engagement with Native Peoples. The relational model is relevant to ministry with other cultures today. This course will also provide knowledge that can help us move on in our journey toward healing and wholeness with our Native American brothers and sisters on the reservations, in urban areas, and in the communities around us. The workshop will also equip Native American Representatives in local churches to plan a Native American Ministries Sunday service or a program at some time during the year to focus on Native American gifts and contributions to the church and community.
Mrs. Sandi Cianciulli & Ms. Verna Colliver
#2. The United Methodist Structure & Upcoming Conference Legislation

#3. Cross-Racial/Cross Cultural Training
Peppered throughout the Bible are the stories of courageous men and women who dared to
cross racial and cultural boundaries to share God’s message and love. Cross racial and cross
cultural ministry is what God has been doing ever since Genesis when God called Abram and
Sarah to a foreign land with people of many differences. Cross-racial and cross-cultural (CRCC)
ministry is not a new 21st century phenomenon but what God has been doing all along
throughout the Biblical and human history.
Mr. Dennis Fisher
#4. Drug Addiction in the 21st Century
A painful family journey. It took 16 years for a Methodist clergy family to deal with addiction with a member of their family. The heart-touching tale will be told with day to day experiences that kept the family living their Christian life between the Church ministry and every day challenges to maintain peaceful journey and finally give-up and give-in to losing their loved one. Come and learn for what warning signs to look out for and what to do from this personal experience.

#5. Adaptive Re-Use Church Property: Freeing Up Resources for Ministry
How can we re use our old unsustainable buildings and attached lands to build a new model of church where funds are freed up for mission and church renewal? Many older churches can no longer continue spending 80-90% of their funds to maintain older energy inefficient buildings and keep up the repairs required etc.…Hundreds of churches in the USA are being sold off or converted into new uses to allow for new wineskins to emerge and to support the renewal of the mission of Jesus! This session will explore in an interactive fashion what your options are in dealing with the reality of trying to maintain unsustainable properties with the goal of freeing up funds for ministries that meet local community needs and help grow your congregations again!
Rev. Robert V Peters. B.Th., M.A, M.P.S. M.DIV works as Consultant

#10. The Ministry of a Trustee
Colossians 3:22-24; The ministry of the trustees is so often viewed one dimensional; If there's a need, we supply it. If it's broke, we fix it. If there's a project, we complete it. We Secure and Insure our Churches. But So often The Ministry Of The Trustee Board is viewed just as physical, hands on work and we become reduced to Maintenance Men/Women and Groundkeepers, but we are so much more!
Called to be great in the Kingdom Of God (A Servant), part of a Royal Priesthood: approaching every deed and action as a act of worship, in Service to God and our Neighbor.
The purpose of this class is to inspire Trustees to approach this ministry as an act of worship unto God as we engage in group discussion concerning our responsibilities and the tasks that stand before us.
We will be withdrawing Instruction, Correction and Encouragement out of The Book Of Haggai.
