Supporting talent development is a founding pillar of The Water Council so we’re especially excited to showcase several projects that are nurturing water talent in Wisconsin and, as always, we’ll have plenty of networking at the fall member meeting.

- Eric Leaf, Assistant Dean for Advancement, School of Freshwater Sciences, will provide an overview of the Freshwater Collaborative, an integrated, higher education program that crosses multiple disciplines across 13 UW campuses to solidify Wisconsin’s leadership role in freshwater science, technology, entrepreneurship, and economic growth. Hear of the progress to date and insight on 10 Grand Challenges that have been identified through the development process.
- Alongside Aveda Neroli Institute, we’ll recognize the just-announced recipients of the Future Water Leaders Fund, which supports student-led, water-related projects or research efforts in Wisconsin.
- Also, you’ll meet the newest addition to The Water Council team, Stacy Stevens, VP of Marketing & Communications, and hear her ideas on increasing membership engagement and value.
