Course Description

Treating children in our practices is a pleasure, but it can also be very stressful. Many of us may be intimidated when a child patient is in our chair. After all, children are not always willing or cooperative patients. We must provide sound dental treatment while trying to keep our patients and their parents comfortable and happy.

Successful behavior management of the child patient is both an art and a science. In order to achieve success, we must know and practice the principles of behavioral management and be able to modify our approach as necessary. In this webinar, I will discuss non-pharmacological behavior management techniques, language, local anesthesia, treatments and material choices as well as share tips and tricks to help treatment plans go smoothly.
