This webinar is designed to help participants further develop their understanding of the types of teaching and training techniques that deliver real learning.

Objectives

Participants should on completion of the webinar, be able to describe and explain:

  • the difference between active and passive learning methods
  • why active learning methods tend to deliver better learning and how this is related to the way which people learn
  • a range of active learning methods
  • learner perspectives on outstanding learning sessions
  • characteristics of sessions that achieve the Wow Factor.

  • novice teachers and trainers (i.e. unqualified and new into the role)
  • individuals currently operating as Assessors with limited or no training delivery experience, who need to convert to a training role
