Sara Mansfield Fundraising Manager Save the Bilby Fund As well as juggling lots of clients on the agency side, Sara also spends part of her time working for Save the Bilby Fund as their Fundraising Manager. A career fundraiser, Sara has worked with and for charities of all shapes and sizes but is particularly passionate about working with small organisations who desperately want to grow. Sara has lost count of the number of charities she’s worked with in Australia since arriving from the UK in 2005. She was a key driver in the setting up of Pareto Phone when she arrived and is now supporting a number of small to medium organisations grow their individual giving income via a number of channels. She is a pragmatist above all – her approach to growth is to just keep getting things done, learning from them and refining. Working at the coal face for Save the Bilby Fund has meant producing copy, design and targets for appeals, setting up a CRM from scratch, facebook community management and advertising – all without any other resource or third party support. Sara makes things happen and has recently enjoyed the many wonderful comments and donations from their Tax appeal, which generated just under $100K. | |
