Description

Changes in health care, including: payment reform, take-backs, and value-based purchasing, are causing organizations to cut expenses through FTE reduction. In this session, the speaker will provide practical recommendations on how to develop and present an effective business model that identifies, defines, and supports the mission, values, and goals of the organization while justifying the role and capacity of department staff. The speaker will discuss the importance of arming oneself with a visual model of services and tools that defines and measures the outcomes of the model, and identifies the tasks and measures the quantity of the work related to FTEs needed to support the model.
