Description

The road from a completely outsourced physician advisor program to an in-house one is fraught with many perils. This session will examine one hospital network’s year-long journey, including the lessons learned from identifying and addressing obstacles encountered during the implementation process of the program. The presentation will focus on methods used to successfully address organizational barriers encountered while instituting change within a complex hospital system, which includes six separate and distinct campuses. Particular attention will be given to the crucial integration of physician advisors into the case management model, along with other clinical team members.
