This program will provide an overview of blood cancers: the different types; how they are diagnosed; current and emerging treatment options as well as relevant survivorship issues for patients and their families. Objectives: learn strategies to make informed treatment decisions about blood cancers; learn strategies to manage disease & treatment side effects; understand the importance of having a survivorship care plan, including a treatment summary; learn strategies to manage long term side effects and other survivorship issues; learn how to access the services and programs available through LLS.
