Program
ASH is the world's most comprehensive
hematology conference. The program will provide an invaluable educational experience
to learn updates in leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma.
Goal:
To provide a learning opportunity for oncology nurses and social workers to expand their knowledge about ground-breaking research, new therapeutic approaches, and find out how that research can be translated into cutting-edge patient care.
Objectives: At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to:
- Understand an overview of Blood Cancers
- Learn Disease-Specific Treatment Updates: Leukemia, Lymphoma, Multiple Myeloma from ASH
- Provide and address the need for resources and support of the patient and family throughout the treatment process
Target Audience:
Approval for nurses has been obtained by the National Office of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society under Provider Number CEP 5832 to award 1.0 continuing education contact hours through the California Board of Registered Nursing.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), Provider Number 1105, is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) www.aswb.org. Approved Continuing Education Program (ACE). Approval period: 12/10/2017 - 12/14/2020. LLS maintains responsibility for the program. Social workers should contact their regulatory board to determine course approval. Social workers will receive 1.0 CE clinical contact hours.
Upon completion of this program and submission of the activity evaluation, a certificate of completion will be emailed to you within 30 days.
