About the Event: QLD - 2019 Fundraising Trends and Christmas Wishes

 

Thanks to our sponsor, Apple Marketing, we will celebrate another fundraising year and anticipate 2019 and all it promises to hold.

We will review our 2018 wishes from last year, contemplate our 2019 fundraising wishes and hear the top fundraising trends to assist you in 2019.

 Each of our 2018 sponsors will be sharing their fundraising trends for 2019 in their area of expertise:

·         Darren Musilli, from Apple Marketing, will speak on trends in using a contact centre as a fundraising channel.

·         Tina Hay, from Direct Marketing Solutions, will discuss trends in fundraising using social media

·         Geoff Davey, from Pronto Direct, will focus on trends in direct mail

·         Meredith Dwyer, our Queensland Chair, will also predict trends in digital fundraising and review 2019 professional development opportunities in Qld.

One lucky person will win a dinner voucher worth $50, courtesy of Southport Golf Club.

Meredith Dwyer is the leader and Chair of Queensland FIA Committee and sits on the national Board of FIA. She is a Director of Homemade Digital Australia. Her fundraising experience spans small start-up organisations to multi-million-dollar operations; and from marketing, fundraising and strategic planning to the creation and management of innovative health, welfare and development programs. She describes herself as a fundraising strategist and joins us to predict the fundraising future in 2019.

Tina Hay is an Online Marketing and Social Media Expert. With a background in Sales and Marketing spanning back to 2001, Tina saw the need for Marketing and Social Media for Small to Medium Business and NFP. She set up her boutique marketing agency, Direct Marketing Solutions (DMS), in 2010 and hasn’t looked back since. Tina’s background includes working in UK, USA and now Australia, where she enjoys working with the NFP sector and SME enterprises.
