YEUNG CHAN

 

Renowned furniture maker and woodworking teacher Yeung Chan now lives in California. He was born in China and immigrated to the United States in 1973. In 1997, he studied under James Krenov at the College of the Redwoods.

Yeung gives woodworking demonstrations and teaches classes and seminars throughout the U.S., and is the author of numerous woodworking articles and the book "Classic Joints with Power Tools." He's also developed signature chisels, which are available from Lee Valley (Veritas Detail Chisels).
