Jim Benson is a Principal Engineer with Camfil Power Systems, North America. He has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, and Master in Management of Technology both from the University of Minnesota; and is a Professional Engineer. He has over 30 years of filtration experience, in the areas of product development, filter media and applications. This experience has covered multiple of markets including military vehicles, industrial dust collection, compressed air, and gas turbine systems. Over the past 20 years Jim has presented gas turbine related filtration topics at numerous technical forums including ASME, Power Gen, TurboMachinery Symposium and several gas turbine user’s groups.
