Dental Laser became an important tool in the Dental clinic with multipurpose and wide range of applications.

With the challenges that the dentists are facing in their daily practice specially in Perio & Oral surgery asking for a more simple, better outcome, minimal invasive and less traumatic techniques and tools which the laser may give an effective assisting tool to the dentist for such procedures.

Perio treatments and gingival or oral surgeries using these lasers have been scientifically evaluated in more depth and last but not least many FDA clearances have been achieved for different dental procedures. Thus, there is a need to re-think decision making for either non-, micro- or minimum-invasive treatment options at various applications to reduce the side effects of the conventional techniques.
