About the Event: WA - Have you cracked the Fundraising Code?

The future success of fundraising sits firmly in our hands.

As organisational leaders, fundraising practitioners or committed not for profit volunteers, we all need to take responsibility for raising the standards of ethical fundraising practices.

In late 2017 FIA launched the FIA Code, a voluntary, self regulatory code of conduct for fundraising practice in Australia.
This is a pro-active response to the threat of increased government intervention and legislative reform.

This breakfast meeting is for directors, CEOs, CFOs, fundraising professionals, fundraising team members and community volunteers who are involved in or rely on fundraising to deliver on their organisations purpose. It is important that, as a whole sector, we ensure we are compliant with the new Code and regain public confidence in fundraising practice.

You will hear very different but relevant perspectives with respect to the importance of the Code for our sector:
- A CEO of a prominent WA Charity - why he, his board and executive team have embraced it;
- A prominent WA Fundraiser - what it means to changing current practices to comply.

You will have the chance to ask any burning questions and seek advice from the experts in the room.

Don't miss the chance to be part of this discussion!
