About the Event: QLD - Award Winning Big Gift Campaigns

Less than five years experience in fundraising?

Upgrade your experience with strategy and stories from three successful campaigns.

Are you an experienced fundraiser?

Tap into what happened in three campaigns for one international brand name, hear how simple strategy deployed into a complex organisation is tailored to suit their specific needs.

Want to know how to run your big gifts campaign successfully?

Ronald McDonald Houses in Perth, Brisbane and Westmead have run excellent capital campaigns in the past few years to help build their new houses for families of children undergoing long stays for hospital treatment.

Perth and Brisbane have both won FIA Awards for Excellence and Westmead is a current award finalist.

Sandy Fuller MFIA, campaign director of the most recent Westmead campaign, draws out key elements of how to run an amazing big gift campaign and getting past really challenging obstacles.

All three campaigns ran on the peer to peer advocate led model supported by high quality profile research and database tools.  That is where the similarities stopped though; following a brief outline of the successful campaign strategies, Sandy analyses the unique market situations each campaign faced and how their teams embraced and overcame challenges with successful outcomes. Ronald McDonald House personnel appears on screen providing their perspective alongside Sandy's.

The main take away from this breakfast session is strategy, case studies and campaign anecdotes that become your industry knowledge, your experience and your own anecdotes when speaking with colleagues.
