Bio
Michael J. Cosgrove – President of Carragh Consulting U.S.A specializing in Pension, Mutual Fund, Asset Management and business strategy/funding for small Industrial Companies. With over 44 years of experience within GE ranging from U.S. Pension Trustee and oversight of Global Pension Plans, Leader of Mutual Funds and Asset Management with assets over $140 billion. He has had responsibility for Risk Management, Asset Allocation, Manager Selection, Finance, Sales and General Management. In addition he has had finance and sales roles in GE’s International Industrial business including Power Generation, Aircraft Engines, Aerospace, Medical and Transportation. He created GE Trading Company and became the first CFO and eventually leader of the business with oversight for GE’s Countertrade and Barter Operations worldwide. Mike graduated from Fordham University in 1970 with a BS degree in Economics and received his MBA degree from St. John's University in 1973. Mike is a Trustee of Fordham University where he is Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee and on the Executive Committee, Past Treasurer of GE Foundation, and past Treasurer and a Director of the Skin Cancer Foundation. He has also served on the Board of Governors for the Investment Company Institute. Current Board Member on America Media and Neuberger Berman Open and Closed end Funds.
