About the Program

This is the initial symposium that will be an annual event produced by members of the Crane Manufacturers Association of America (CMAA) and the Material Handling Industry (MHI), and will deliver technology information and experiences from leading crane manufacturers, crane component suppliers, and engineering consultants for the safe and reliable operation of electric overhead traveling (EOT) cranes. This one day program will include presentations focused on safe operation practices, inspection and maintenance techniques for electrical, mechanical and structural features of EOT Cranes and Below-the-Hook Devices. Presentations may feature topics that could integrate into your company’s safety program. The Program’s benefit will be to improve the safe, reliable use of your crane assets, which will result in increased productivity and increased life of your EOT cranes.

Who Should Attend

Plant operations and maintenance staff, including managers, engineers, and crane technicians. Anyone who has responsibility for cranes and is interested in improvements by reducing safety incidents and extending the life of your equipment should attend.

Professional Development Hours

This course may qualify for up to 7 Professional Development Hour (PDH) credits. Each attendee will receive a certificate listing the quantity of PDH credits earned for the course. This course is not approved for PDH credit in New York, Florida, North Carolina and Oklahoma.
