ISLA's 8th Annual Post Trade Conference
Thank you for attending this year's event!

This year's event themed Securities Lending Post Trade – Evolution or Revolution?’ will once again be a mix of panel discussions, breakout sessions as well as keynote presentations; all designed to explore the various drivers affecting the post trade environment and how they might shape the future.  With the industry now focused very much on regulatory implementation of SFTR and MiFID II in Europe, what might the implications on infrastructure be, will all functions be ready?  How might emerging and existing technologies respond to a fundamentally changing operating model?

This year's keynote speakers are Sarah John and Jon Pyzer from Bank of England.

Sarah John is Head of Sterling Markets Division at the Bank of England, responsible for the design and implementation of the Bank’s operations in Sterling markets, in support of both its monetary policy and financial stability objectives. Sarah joined the Bank in 1999 after completing a degree in economics at Cambridge, and was heavily involved in reforming the Bank’s operations during the financial crisis. Sarah has also worked in the Bank’s Financial Stability area, focusing on European macroprudential policy issues.

Jon Pyzer’s City career spans over thirty five years. He was a Director of several money broking companies before joining the FSA in 2008. He currently leads theBank’s work on the UK Money Market Code, drawing on his market experience to advise the wide-ranging group of market participants who drew up the Code.

Please join us as we debate answers to these and many other questions in a live and interactive forum.
