Program Description

This hands-on workshop provides an opportunity for teams of institutional representatives to develop action plans to improve their general education assessment processes. Under the guidance of expert practitioners, attendees will learn best practices for assessment of student learning in general education programs and will work with teammates to critically review the structure, philosophy and perceptions of their institutions’ existing practices.

Who Should Attend

All HLC-accredited or candidate institutions are invited to participate. This is a team-based workshop. Institutions should plan to send 2–4 representatives, including faculty and staff members who work on general education or assessment.
