Bio
Kim joined Enbridge in 2014. Kim is the Director of Community and Indigenous Engagement and responsible for managing the public and Indigenous engagement for Enbridge operations across Canada. This includes developing the engagement strategies that play a significant role in project approvals, building the Enbridge reputation, gaining public acceptance and fostering stronger, sustainable relationships with the communities in which we operate. Kim leads a team of engagement professionals that focus on Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities, Indigenous and stakeholder groups, community leaders and influencers, municipalities, emergency responders, ENGOs, chambers of commerce and the general public. Prior to joining Enbridge, Kim spent 15 years with Talisman Energy, where he most recently led the Public Affairs and Land Services department. He has been working in the areas of stakeholder and Indigenous engagement and conflict resolution for over 25 years in North America. Kim holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Alberta and a Masters of Resource Management from Simon Fraser University, and lives in Calgary with his wife Christine. He has two adult children.
