Audience: In-service, pre-service, home school and informal STEM educators of grades 4-8

Are you ready for this summer’s greatest show on Earth?  Join us for this “All Things Eclipse” workshop and let us show you how to maximize your students’ experiences of the upcoming rare total solar eclipse across the US. Topics will include pre-eclipse resources such as a virtual eclipse presentation and hands-on modeling of the sun, Earth, and moon during an eclipse.  We will also provide information on everything you need to know in order to host a successful eclipse viewing event. Given the unsafe nature of viewing an eclipse with the naked eye, there will be a particular focus on several methods of SAFE eclipse viewing.  Don’t be left in the dark on eclipse day!

Online pre-registration is required to participate.

Registration will be limited to 30 educators.

Registration will close July 23, 2017 (or, when 30 educators are registered).

CEU's will be offered for 5.0 hours of attendance.
