Webinar (October) - Getting to Yes: Preparing and Asking for Major Gifts

According to the ACNC, there are approximately 54,000 charities in Australia. So, it’s fair to say that it’s a fairly crowded field. And, almost all of them are taking it to the masses through a mix of events, auctions, direct mail, social media and telephone. Donors themselves feel fatigued and, according to studies, this is the number one barrier to people giving. So, how do you stand out in a crowd, how do you keep your donors engaged, and how do you grow your fundraising income dramatically? The answer – as the most philanthropically successful organisations clearly demonstrate – is to nurture relationships and focus on major gifts.

Join frontline major gifts expert Nick Jaffer as he provides you with a practical understanding of major gift fundraising, including key essentials for major gift success, an understanding of the donor’s perspective, how to take a relationship forward for a major gift and, of course, how to ask for that major gift.
